BALANCING PAPER

This special foil product is also called backing paper. There´s a wide range of applications: for gluing furniture elements, doors and interior design products as well as a material that balances the changes in the board geometry resulting from the lamination process.

It can also be used on profiles to obtain unique surface quality and as an optical finishing of invisible surfaces where no special resistance is required. In certain cases it can be sanded and painted.

  • Availability: 14 working days
  • Roll width: 2200 mm +/- 0,5%
  • Minimal amount: 1 roll
  • Size of the roll: 2800 – 4000 m²
  • Roll diameter: 36 – 43 cm
  • Inner core size: 150 mm
  • In the case of requiring that we cut/rewind a roll, we cannot guarantee the initial lead time.
  • The maximum call-off to one decor which we guarantee is 15 000 m²
*The use of these products is possible on all presses and adhesive systems for processing of finish foils and without any substantial changes in processing parameters. Due to the specific properties of these products, we encourage you to contact Schattdecor Application & Process Technology Department.
**The compatibility of the materials used – e.g. varnishes/paints – should be checked during technological tests.

RECOAT

Decor number: 16-143080

It’s a special foil product intended for further processing by varnishing or painting. A layer of special primer improves the surface and optical effect quality and provides the adhesion for the final coating. It also reduces the paint / varnish consumption.

It can also be used as base foil for painting. The foil surface ensures proper adhesion for finishing processes with wide range of products for painting and varnishing available on the market.

  • Minimal amount: 1 roll
  • Size of the roll: 2800 – 4000 m²
  • Roll diameter: 36 – 43 cm
  • Inner core size: 150 mm
